Hello everybody,

I am doing my first pc build and I would like someone to check whether my components will work. Should I use a Radeon R9 390x or a Geforce GTX 970

Motherboard GIGABYTE B150M-D3H (rev. 1.0)
CPU intel i5 6600k 3.5GHz
GPU MSI R9 390 GAMING 8G
Power source Fortron RAIDER S 650W 80PLUS SILVER
CPU cooler Coolermaster Hyper 212
Case Fractal Design Define S
Disk drive ASUS DRW-24F1MT/ BLACK/ BULK
RAM 2x 4GB DDR3-1866MHz Kingston HyperX Fury Blue
I have a 3.5 inch HHD (1 TB) and a 2.5 inch SSD (120 GB) just for the OS

Do I need anything else except a screwdriver and a grounding strap for actually building the PC.

Thanks for you help.

Local retailers in slovakia aren't that good. This is the best thing I could find, would it work?

You dont want to run ddr3 with a skylake cpu. Skylake was designed to run ddr4 and ddr3l(low voltage ddr3). Usin 1.5v ddr3 can reduce the cpus life span. The raider Psu uses cheaper teapo caps on the primary and secondary side which is why i wont reccomend using one.

Would this motherboard work?

MSI Z170A PC MATE

The pc mate is a low end board and I typically stay away from MSIs lower end boards. With a 6600k i definitely reccomend a z170 board itherwise the extra cost of a K cpu is wasted. For a MSI z170 try to get one of the gaming series or look at an Asus or Gigabyte board.
