When I first built my desktop computer (runs Windows), I had issues with the computer screen freezing and when I would restart the computer, the display would be blank. No BIOS, nothing. After trial and error, I found that if I removed the RAM and then turned the computer on, turned it off again and re-inserted RAM back into the computer, the computer would start and go to BIOS and subsequently launch Windows. The issue has for some reason improved over time. In fact, sometimes I can restart my computer without performing the ritual. Unfortunately, occasionally the computer does freeze and subsequently won't restart or sometimes if I just restart it for updates or something it will show a blank display again. Anybody have any ideas about what is going on? Why does removing the RAM and graphics card fix the issue? I would love to resolve whatever underlying issue there is and not have to perform this ritual. Thanks!
