I just assembled my first pc and i know all the plugs are in all the way and i cant get into the bios. The case fans the graphics card fans and the cpu fans all spin up but i cannot get into the bios and theres no beeping from motherboard.
I know i have to update my bios and i have it the file on a flashdrive but not sure how to reset bios without going into it.

Solution
Use either a 15 pin vga video cable from the motherboard to the tv if you have one.
Or use a Dvi to hdmi adapter. Dvi from the motherboard to hdmi on your tv.

You may have the adapter supplied in the box your GTX 960 card came with for Dvi to Hdmi conversion.
After you have made the changes in the bios you can use the Hdmi of the 950 card to the tv.

Follow the instructions on your motherboard's manual. If you don't have a physical copy go to the manufacturer's website and download it.

If your still having problems with this or anything else post your full system specs so you can get further help.

I downloaded it on a flashdrive. Do i just plug it in and turn the power on?

Cody connect your video lead from your monitor to the video ports of the motherboard if it has them.

Restart your pc when done, press the key to enter your bios.
Go to the section of the bios that deals with graphics and set the default interface to initialize first to Pci-e.
Save the changes you made, before you exit your bios.

Take the video cable out from the back of the motherboard.
And connect it again back to the GTX 950 card.

Power the system up.
The next time you press the key to enter the bios it will be displayed via your GTX 960 card, make any further changes you need to in your bios settings.

All motherboard with on board video support require you to connect your monitor to them first of all in order to get a display of the bios and it`s menu option.
You change the graphics interface mode to Pci-e so that when you press the key to enter the bios and it`s menus it is displayed via the Pci-e based graphics card such as your GTX 960 card there after.
