It's the same board and you can't overclock with that board.

Yeah thought so. Might have to switch to a budget amd build or buy a more expensive motherboard. you got any suggestions?

The processor is locked. If you want overclock you will need to get amd fx series processors or intel k processors.

thanks for all the help. I will probably just go with what you suggested first since this is a budget under 500 build that I'm looking into for a project.
