I was using my computer this morning and I noticed using my keyboard would launch random applications on my computer so naturally my first reaction was to restart my PC that when it got stuck on the gigabyte motherboard splash screen so then I though I would replace the CMOS battery as this solved my problem last time this happened but now my computer is stuck in an endless cycle of booting into repair mode and failing to repair itself. However if I choose to start windows normally it will show half the startup animation and blue screen for half a second before restarting once again. When it fails to repair it says norootcause. No clue if it makes a difference but I did buy a new mouse 2 days ago and my keyboard is half broken. I have also been force shutting down a lot recently out of being impatient.

Solution
Damodragon,

By taking the battery out of the motherboard.
You have reset the bios back to its factory default mode, settings.

The Mode your Sata interface was set to when windows was installed has changed.

You need to go into your bios and set the Sata interface mode back to what it was set to before you removed the battery.

Change the mode from Sata, to Ahci mode.
Save the new settings in you bios.
You will also, or should notice that you time and date is wrong, so set it back up to the correct day month year and the correct time.

Save the changes you have made in the bios before you exit it.
And try the system to see if it boots into windows login, or desktop.

If it fails. try each option or mode that the Sata interface mode...

wow so many issues it's hard to isolate. bios by default has stoppages for stop on all errors no keyboard detected is one of them. busted keyboard could be a root cause, busted keyboard sending constant key stroke like delete as an example; could be another. bad keyboard driver or driver crash and burn in the registry could be another. same for the mouse. reminds me of the problems when logitech wireless mice first came out and you tried to play first person shooters like rainbow6 or unreal tournament on windows 95 and windows 98.

then you have the forced shut down issue.... that's alot to trouble shoot for a forum post

One should stop the blue screen error when you reach the windows loading logo.

The reason you are launching programs or games when you type on your keyboard is because you have most likely without realizing
enabled sticky keys mode in windows, Disable sticky keys mode in windows via control panel and the keyboard options.
