Will the icore 7 6700k handle 3200mhz ram?

Ive been buying parts for the lga 1151 socket, I assumed the new skylake CPU's could handle high ddr4 3200mhz ram. Has anyone overclocked to where they can use 3200mhz ram or even boot their system it without overclocking the CPU using the 6700k?

Ive had bad experiences with trying to get my icore 7 3770 currently to even run 2400mhz ram had to settle for 2000mhz so I'm really worried. If I have to overclock to get that speed then I'm gonna swap to water cooling for the CPU which I know nothing about.

similar article here--if the faster ram isnt costing much more then fair enough get it any way but if paying a premium for it somewhere in the article pretty sure it will say not really any real world noticable difference only higher benchmark scores

You should be fine, there should be a difference as mcnumpty said, so if you need you dont actually need to run it at full speed- there is no reason too if you don't get perfect stability on it
