I have recently built a a new system and it worked well at first but now wont reach POST.

System:
-Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 Motherboard
-AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor
-Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Strix Graphics Card
-Western Digital WD10EZEX Blue 1TB 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache SATA 6.0 GB/s 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive
-Zalman LQ315 Liquid CPU cooler
-Windows 10 (upgraded from seven)

It used to turn on and go through POST and bios. But it would occasionally freeze on startup or when in windows already. So i would use the reset button and it would then restart and that worked for a while. Managed to instal Assassins Creed and Blender and things. Lately its not even reaching POST. Just a black screen and the monitor says no signal. I have tried DVI and HDMI.
PLEASE HELP, I WAS SO HAPPY WITH WHAT I HAD CREATED! ITS A GORGEOUS MACHINE! :*(

According to the website the recommended wattage is 500 with 30A at 12V rail. Maybe I didn't connect it up properly? Or do you think with the AMD 8 core processor I'll require a lot more power?

Done it, my whole system requires 397, so around 400 and mine is a 600 watt. I used eXtreme Power Calculator as well and that said minimum 450 required so I thought I'd be in the clear 600 watts.

Ah okay, and it makes sense because only when I ran he BIOS into performance mode that it wouldn't boot up.
Do you have any suggestions for a good PSU under £100?
