We recently upgraded my Windows 10 computer. We have (from what I can see) correctly plugged everything in and set everything up, yet it is still bringing up this error message. The specs are:
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
RAM: 8x1 RAM Card
CPU: AMD FX Processor Black Edition (FX 6300 6-Core)
HDD: WD 500GB SATA (64MB CACHE)
Video Card: Crossfiring NVidia GT 630 / NVidia GT 9800
One CD/DVD Drive, Disconnected for testing.
Power Supply: EVGA 500 Watt

It does not list the HDD as a boot device, but I think it may have to do with the fact that one of the pins on the HDD SATA connector is slightly bent, but it seems to be connecting. We have tried checking all SATA ports, changing the CSM settings, and messing around with SATA port settings, but no success there. I am not sure what the issue is at this point.

do you need to set it to ide or ahci ?? is it a new ssd that may have a firmware issue with the boards bios ?? then you say its damaged so no telling there as well you running off pure luck with that ?? its not like sata ports and cables make a good solid positive snug connection to start with anyway
