hello
i have a core 2 duo gaming build that runs all my games just fine, but i want to get a little more power out of it
i have an older core 2 duo e4700 that can be overclocked to 3.20 GHZ and it works REALLY well. but my core 2 duo e8400 wont go that far.
in the BIOS, the FSB is set to 345, if i go above 345, then the computer wont boot and i have to reset the CMOS. does anyone know why that's happening when my core 2 duo e4700 can go farther?
here are the full system specs
mobo: MSI 945GCM5 V2 (FSB 1333) (MS-7267 v4.2) with intel i945g chipset
CPU: intel core 2 duo e8400
GPU: EVGA geforce GT 730 2 GB GDDR5
RAM: 4 GB DDR2
HDD: 320 GB WD blue SATA
OS: windows 10 64-bit
