AMD FX 6300 running on 4 cores?

I just upgraded my cpu from fx 4130 to 6300 i am on amd overdrive (attempting to overclock) and it only shows me the speeds for cores, 0,1,2,3, anyone know whats wrong? also core temp says i have 4 cores and 4 threads

Go into your BIOS and make sure they're all enabled (hold Delete key on start up). Also you can type msconfig into the search bar in Windows, go to the Boot tab and make sure your processor core count isn't locked down.
