I am planning a PC Tower Desktop Build and am wondering if my motherboard will need a BIOS update prior to Kaveri processors.
PC Specs:
Rosewill Galaxy-01 Gaming Tower Chassis
ASRock FM2A88X PRO3+ Socket FM2+ Motherboard
AMD A8-7600 Kaveri 3.1Ghz Socket FM2+ CPU
ADATA XPG v1.0 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB)
Rosewill RD400-2-DB 400W v2.2 ATX PSU
CRYORIG M9a Cooler for AMP Processors
I checked compatibility with PCpartpicker and it says in the compatibility notes:
"Some AMD A88X chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaveri CPUs."
Will I need a BIOS update or can I plug-and-play without needing an update?
