computer turns on, then off, repeatedly after upgrade

i just finished upgrading my pc. when i turn it on, it will turn on then off then on then off etc. i dont know what is causing this to happen. the pc specs are:

i5 4699k (upgrade)
gigabyte b85m-d3h (upgrade)
14 gb of ram in 4 slots
sapphire radeon r9 380 (upgrade)
cx750m

any help would be appreciated

Well depending on what it is that was upgraded, I'd put the old parts back in to make sure just to make sure it's the new parts that are causing this. However, it could just be as simple as a loose power cable or something so make sure everything is connected before tearing it apart as my friend built a computer and had symptoms like this and it turned out to be that he didn't plug his hard drive power cable all the way in.
