Desktop wont connect to monitor, or TV

Hi my PC wont connect up to a monitor or my TV I have tried two connection types (HDMI and VGA). with the HDMI I have tried connecting through the GPU and the MOBO but still no connection. I have tried VGA in the MOBO but still nothing. it was working about 5 hours ago but now it wont connect to anything. as it still wont through the GPU or MOBO im not sure where the issue is.
The Specs of my PC are:
RAM: 16GB (DDR3)
CPU: Intel i74790k
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 980
HDD: 3TB Seagate
SSD: Samsung Evo 256GB
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3

Monitor Plugged in
Turned on
Cables are Secure Monitor Side.

When it was working did you have Any Windows updates in Progress ?

Hi
Look in the BIOS to make sure the motherboard graphics are not disabled then remove the GPU and try with the cables connected to the motherboard.

I since fixed the issue. after reading up on this issue further RAM was the issue not sure if it was the slots it was placed in but i switched them over and it connected fine. Just a little odd cause it was fine for about 6 months the died. i will test further in the coming days to see what it the cause it but it looks like the RAM slots
