laptops and especially ultrabooks usually use low voltage modules of 1.35V . however use cpuz in order to see the exact specs and part number.!thats the only way to be sure.! alternatively you can open the back of the laptop and physically inspect it yourself.!

thanks chris987 but when i open cpuz it says nothing because i have 4 empty ram memory slots 4gb ram are just installed no ram memory stick just empty spaces in ram slots inside laptop.

if your laptop is operational then it has installed ram. you should get a reading on memory/spd tab in cpuz. anyway, what is your specific laptop model.?
