Hi, buying a new pc for our study, but i'd like to play a few games on it, preferable things like football manager, rise of the tomb raider and maybe something like star wars battlefront.
although i tend to game on console, it'd just be nice to have a second option

i know i'd get more for my money by building but i dunno where to start

so my question is, can a store bought pc, with an OS, basically everything other than a monitor-bonus if it comes with a monitor. play the latest games (not necessarily on the highest settings)

and can anyone link one.

for example what would this be capable of

Hi Andy89b, That PC that you selected from amazon looks pretty good too.

If you want to pinch some pennies this one is the same and you could add your own operating system for cheaper.

You can buy a windows 7 license and disk for about £25 from ebay and upgrade it to windows 10 for free until July. It is a bit of work but would save you £25.

ok thanks for the reply,
am i right in thinking yours has a better graphics card but a slightly worse processor? id have to add windows to your suggestion but still pulls it in at the right price range for me. could i not purchas my initial suggest and add your graphics card at a later date or are there other reasons for the one you chose over the one i chose.

i didnt hit the reply button in my first reply, i saw in the related products to your suggestion-this one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Graphics-1600MHz-Corsair-Vantage-Windows/dp/B00SL74K3W/ref=pd_sim_sbs_147_6?ie=UTF8&dpID=41iST86ZMDL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR151%2C160_&refRID=11CCXBD99BM1C3FQXMMQ

and it comes with windows 10. what do you think about that one in comparison to my first sugestion and your suggestion above?
well i dont fully understand, it says windows 10, n then when you click full spec it says windows 7 lol whatever that means

The pc you choose is a SFF case there probably wouldn't be a slot to add a graphics card at a later date and if you could it be a very low profile and then the power supply unit wouldn't be enough to run it .. More less its a throw away pc after a few years so the op above suggest a far better pc then the one you had choosen.
