[Solved]Default program changes itself

Hi, first of all I tried changing the default program of mp3 files in control panel to be opened by AIMP3 player. But after a while BS Player becomes the default program of it. I tried going right click and set default program as AIMP3 and again it worked for a few minutes but then BS Player opens it by default if I open the song. Running Windows 7 64bit SP1.

EDIT: I just noticed that default program for mp3 changes to BS Player when I opened a video file with BS Player. So BS Player is somehow interfering. When I go to "Choose defaults for this program" mp3 is grayed out so I can't uncheck it.

Yes it interfering, use either vlc or pot player for video playback, use the 32bit version of player since the 64bit has codec issues, however while this may sound discouraging its ripe with excellent features. When installing any media software make sure you tell it from the start what files it has access and what files are not, this will avoid problems. Pot player has better engine to deal with faulty video files that will sometimes stall even in vlc, in my opinion although that may not be the case now because development for both apps is ongoing.

But BS Player is still better in that area.

I installed BS Player and then selected each file type with open with and selected BS Player or AIMP3 and now it works for me.
