I'm making a similar Intel and AMD build.
Intel
CPU - G4400 $89
GPU - GTX 750Ti $155.70
Motherboard - Gigabyte H110M-H $85
Total - $329.7

AMD
CPU - A4 7300 $61
GPU - R7 360 $155
Motherboard - AsRock FM2A68M-HD $85
Total - $301

I can add a A6 7400K because this will be the closest price to the Intel build.
By the way.

Just to make things clear, are you buying two rigs, one AMD and one Intel, or are you choosing between two budget gaming rigs?

Both.

And why is that? Why not put together the money to get an i5 rig? Are you building for your own use, or selling the rigs/testing or something along those lines?

Kinda testing. Trying to build a bit of a budget pc but, I also added to AMD to test out stuff. I'm giving it to my 2 younger brothers too.

Alright. Well, the A6-7400k does not have the same performance as the G4400, but Mantle should be able to work for a much better GPU performance with the R7 and onboard GPU on the A6, than with the 750ti. So better CPU performance for the Intel, but better GPU performance with the AMD-APU and R7

They might struggle in those types of intensive games, but should run them at decent fps in low/medium settings. Google around a bit to see other's results, as i cannot say without knowing for sure.

If you opted for the i3 6100 you'd be having a good time. The integrated graphics, Intel HD 530, isn't special but it will give you the same performance of something in the neighbourhood of an R7 240/250 or GT 730. It has the best single threaded performance and is a dual core with hypethreading so it will last a bit longer than the other's in core to core performance. If you went down that road and bought a GPU later on down the line you would be in a much better place. Even a 750ti or a used 660. Something in that area you could get for under $100.

Take a look at this link to give you an idea. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/skylake-intel-core-i7-6700k-core-i5-6600k,4252-9.html

The AMD one isn't bad but I wouldn't recommend it. It is a 4 core CPU and has comparable integrated graphics but the single core performance is much lower and at the end of the day a CPU causing a bottleneck gives you such poor room for upgrading. A new CPU, Mobo, and OS. If you went with the a10 you'd be stuck with a 4 core (very ideal) with poor single core performance. So unless you're playing games that require 4 cores I wouldn't recommend it.
