Pc crashed, monitor does not power up

I was playing Borderlands 2 when my PC crashed - black screen, stuttering sound. My computer automatically restarted. I tried again but this time it crashed before I even got onto the game. It began to restart again but this time the monitor did not show anything and my peripherals were not connecting. The computer seemed to boot but the beep did not sound. My peripherals seemed to turn on but only for a moment and after the keyboard would light up only when I tapped a key. My graphics card (bought only a couple of weeks ago) does not light up anymore either but the fan is working.

I am unsure of what to do or what the problem could be. Any help would be appreciated.

Could be all of these things

-GPU has problems - If gpu still has warranty, I would go to a hardware expert and ask if anything's wrong with it.
-CPU is overheating - check if thermal paste has been applied correctly.
-Power disconnected from some component - Power cables may be wrongly connected.

IF YOU HAVE TIME DISASSEMBLE THE PC AND REBUILD IT AGAIN.

What power supply are you using? A faulty/cheap unit can cause problems that you're describing. Also, as SkittishGaming mentioned, it's a good idea to go over your build again, checking all cables and connections, reseating GPU, RAM,ect.
