Replacing APU on HP Pavillion 550-a114

So I have a HP Pavillion 550-a114, and I've had it for a bit of time and I wanted to upgrade its APU. I heard it's basically a laptop in the form of a tower, but I'm wondering if I can upgrade the APU to an A8-7600k, right now I have the A8-6410. So is it possible for me to replace the APU with a better one

Your motherboard has a BGA type socket meaning the CPU is soldered to the motherboard. Unless you have adequate equipment and you know what you are doing, I would not bother changing it. Besides, it's not much of an upgrade anyway.
