Thank you. One last question, will this run fallout 4 on high settings?

Sorry, I need a bit more help. I cant seem to find the video card mentioned above and I was wondering if you knew of any offering equal performance for around the same price. PC parts picker lists newegg but they don't have the 380x, when I click buy I get redirected to http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-3938566-10446076?sid=&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.newegg.com%2FProduct%2FProduct.aspx%3FItem%3DN82E16814125836 I cant find it anywhere else.

Edit - Would this be a good alternative? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-r9390p8256

First of all, R9 390 is "kind of" an overkill for 1080p but it is a great card for ultra or 144hz gameplay.

Second of all, R9 380 4GB > GTX 960 4GB.
R9 380X >>> GTX 960 4GB.

Do you know where I can buy a 380x? I've been searching and only come up with results for the 380. I didn't want to go higher than 600, but if I can play the games I own, e.g. metro last light redux, wolfenstein the new order, fallout 4, etc. on ultra I don't mind spending a little extra. Right now I'm at 806 and I really don't want to go any higher. Here's what I have http://pcpartpicker.com/p/H3GG7P.

Edit - The video card you recommended was Gigabyte Radeon R9 380X 4GB WINDFORCE 2X, which is what I've been searching for. I've found other 380x but by different names so I assumed they were a different product. Few examples, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202183 , http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150761 , http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127878. Are these all the same product or are there differences? I know this is probably a little annoying but I've never done this before and I really don't want to screw anything up.

1) The motherboard already has one ethernet port so you do not need that wired adapter.
2) That case is enormous. It is a full tower! If you do not care about DVD drives, get something like an S340 or something from the Phantom series if you want to be pretty.
3) Although not the cheapest but the best (at least in my opinion) 380X out there: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202183
4) You can might as well get a 380 if you want to save cash: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr938g1gaming4gd

See benchmarks of 380 and 380X here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/9784/the-amd-radeon-r9-380x-review/4

I didn't really read up on the motherboard, my main concerns were the processor and video card as I figured they were the only parts really relevant to gaming but thanks for pointing that out and saving me a bit of money.

I chose the full case because PC part picker said the video card i chose wouldn't fit in the one you recommended without blocking drive bays, but if this card will fit a mid sized case as the other did I'll go with your selection, aesthetics don't mean too much and I don't really need a DVD drive.

That's actually the one I decided on, mainly because of the reviews.

The 380x is only a little over $40 more, you and other reviews I've read say it offers better performance so I'll go with that.

Thank you for your time in helping me, It's very much appreciated.

Sure. Thank you for posting on the forums.

fallout 4 scales cpu wise just like skyrim. an intel quad core can add 10-20fps over a dual core.

though oleg gave you an excellent build, in this case for fallout 4, going with an i5 and a non x 380 would give you better performance than an i3 and a 380x.

I have 2 remarks about your build:
1) Just go Skylake.
2) Powercolor? Just no.
