How Do i setup internet on vmware workstation 12(Windows XP)

It says connected but I am unable to get on to the internet..I tried NAT, Host only And bridge.But it just wont work for some reason.

If your host computer has one network adapter, go to your virtual network editor and configure vmnet0 to be bridged. This will make that virtual network connect to your one physical adapter in the host computer. Then go in to the settings of your VM and set the network to use vmnet0 and it should just get an IP from your host computer's local network.
