Hi all,
I just assembled my new computer build and am having issues getting all 8GB of RAM working. The system will post and boot fine with just 1/2 sticks in. Will not post or boot with 2. I know the issue is not the RAM itself, will post with either stick, but not both. I have searched and tried suggestions all over google to no avail. Seems to me the problem has something to do with the memory controller, but not sure how to fix. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have tried updating BIOS, XMP mode, down clocking RAM frequency.
Motherboard is an ASUS Z170-AR, Patriot 8GB DDR4 3200 CL16 V4 kit, Intel i5 6500.
