I just recently moved and when I turned on my computer, it wasn't working correctly. When I first turned it on, it tripped the circuit breaker. I had Windows 8.1 installed and could only boot in safe mode. I each time I tried to refresh it or restore it, it failed. I tried reinstalling Windows 8.1 and installing Windows 10, but after installation, I would get a gltchy screen and then it would freeze up and/ or shut down.

I was able install Ubuntu, and it worked for a little bit but became glitchy. I can no longer boot it from the hard drive as it either blanks out or keeps printing "radeon 0000:01:05:0: ring 0 stalled ..." to the screen. When I use the try Linux option I get to the desktop, but the screen has errors and sometimes freezes or shuts down.

Does anyone know what might have been damaged in the move and what ways I can troubleshoot it?
