Hey guys, I'm buying myself a new Gaming PC with my income tax. I have it all picked out but I'm missing 1 item I need to include with my PC, which is a Headset. My Budget cannot go over $1500 at all, and as it is it's $1505 total.

What I'm hoping you guys can help me with is figuring out a way to replace some stuff in my build with the same part with a slightly cheaper piece to free up some of my budget so I can get myself a headset without breaking my $1500 budget. The reason a headset is so important to me to get a decent pair is because I live with my mom and grandma, so I can't play my games through the speakers at night(which is usually when I play because of work). Also I want to buy everything from Amazon and for them to be Prime eligible, so please when suggesting a part to me keep that in mind. Also I use my PC to encode/edit videos, gaming, edit photos, and I'd like to record gameplay so that is another reason I want to stick with nvidia.

Edit:
I did research earlier comparing the 4790k and the 5820k and in benchmarks they do pretty similar in all the ones I've seen. So I was wondering if it is possible to use DDR4 ram with the 4790k or does it not support DDR4?

Here are the headphones I want:

If we can fit them in the budget I want:
Logitech G930 $81.39

Solution
The 390 will perform better than the 970 at that resolution, no reason not to get it.
Since you mention you will be doing more (now) the 5820k is a solid choice.
I dont have the time to add up all the prices (thats why I use PCpartpicker, but you should be under budget)
Is this just for gaming?
If so, drop the processor to a 6500 or 6600k and a Z170 board. No need for the Haswell-E series and X99 platform.
Lose the H80i for a Cryorig H7, 120mm AIO water coolers are not worth it.
Ultra Wide monitor, get a 390 for that higher res: http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-11244-01-20G-Radeon-NITRO-Graphics/dp/B015DXHEAW/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1454901053&sr=1-2&keywords=r9+390
Toss in an SSD: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-75E250B-AM/dp/B00OAJ412U/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1454901132&sr=1-1&keywords=850+evo
Also change the PSU to this: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Crossfire-Warranty-110-B2-0750-VR/dp/B00KFAFRW6/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1454901020&sr=1-1&keywords=evga+b2

With these changes the build should be under budget, as well as cutting waste (and adding in components you may want)

I game, program, encode and edit videos and pictures. Also I don't want a AMD gpu or cpu, and I'm pretty sure the gtx 970 will go in that high of resolution. I also know the benchmarks between the 4790k and the 5820k(And I want to get 1 of those 2 cpus) aren't much different, and the price between the 2 is only around $50. The motherboard is the killer between the 2 cpus it is around 50-75 more, even the ddr4 isn't much different price than the ddr3 ram. And the DDR4 ram is part of my reasoning for getting the 5820k rather than the 4790k.

I should have said all I will be doing with the PC in the beginning, I'll edit the thread with that now, and I'm not trying to be ignorant with GPU, its just my last PC I had all amd parts, FX 8350 Black Edition and dual 280x in it. And I ran into multiple games that were optimized for nvidia and it really bothered me that I had pretty decent hardware but still had low fps in games.

Arma 3 for example. with my old PC at low-med settings I would max out at 25-30fps. On this i5 dual core laptop on low settings I get 20ish fps and its only a dual core. It is insane how much better Arma runs on intel than amd.

I know not all games are like that but arma is one of my most played games.

I'm truly trying to stick with Intel\Nvidia products.

For what I'm using my PC for I want to stick with the 5820k. Also idk if I want a AMD Gpu, if you read my above comment I say why.

Yea I forgot to mention that in the original thread post, I edited that in now. Are you able to tell me if the 4790k supports DDR4 Memory or not?

Is there no Nvidia equal to the 390 at 2560 x 1080 that is 400 or under? if not I guess after doing some research on it after you said something I guess it would be almost a waste not to get the 390. I still think I should stick with the 5820k so I can stick with DDR4 and have some more processing power. or do you think it is worth saving a couple hundred dollars going with the 4790k with ddr3?

That depends on exactly how much rendering and such you will be doing.
The Haswell-E processor will perform better, but then again the extra cost compared to the 4790k may not be worth your investment. But thats your money to decide, both are high performance.
The 970 comes close once OCed, but the 390 does edge it out at higher resolutions. If you really dont want AMD, you can OC a 970 to nearly the same levels.
