Hi all!
I am currently in the works of purchasing and building my own pc for gaming related use. It would be great if anybody could give me any helpful advice, or suggestions for replacing parts and what not for my build aswell as any compatibility issues i may be facing.
Thanks :)

Current build is as follows:
CPU: Intel i5-4590
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 960 4GB
Motherboard : MSI Z97 gaming 3
PSU: EVGA supernova G2 Gold 750w power supply
SSD: Kingston HyperX fury 120gb 2.5in SSD
RAM: 2x4 GB Kingston HyperX fury
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Case/Tower: Aerocool xPredator Evil Green edition

also pick up a after market air cooler the intel stock ones for haswell are plastic and cheap. look at the evo 212.

jhll18 the stock intel cooler has two known defects. one the plastic push pins are known not to go in and lock on the back of the mb..also as the cooler is plastic the cooler is known to fall off from thermal heating and cooling on mb that are sideways when the case is in the upright postion. also a lot of new builder have snapped off the plastic legs and posted help on why there stock intel cpu is over heating. the better coolers for 20.00 like the evo 212 use a beffy backplate and screws.

I've had friends and myself use a stock intel cooler and never had any of that happen to us. Coincidence?

Well i've mainly built it to run CSGO, maybe a few other relatively low demanding games preferably on high resolution to maximise the experience. I'm not planning on getting a 4k monitor or anything like that if that's what you're leaning towards Jhall

From what i've read online there is not a significant difference in performance between the 970 and the 960 hence why i opted for the lower costing model in order to save a bit of dosh to put towards other parts

I have the choice of any windows OS as i have access to windows 7-10. Haven't really put much though into the OS, but i figured i'd just go with 10 to feel more up to date :p

Total budget would be $1500 AUD for the build itself and another $200 for peripherals excluding a headset as i have already purchased a hyperx cloud 2 gaming headset which works quite well
