Installed new CPU, computer wont detect it.

So I installed a new AMD FX-8350, after I booted up my computer and checked the settings it still said I had a AMD FX-4300. No matter what I do it keeps that there and wont show my new CPU.

Try clearing the CMOS battery and also reset bios settings to default

also check that your mb has the newest bios file so it has the newest cpu code. also as you did not post your mb look under the mb cpu qal list see if your new cpu is listed.
