Step by Step:
turn off the computer
open the side panel
touch the power supply mounting screw to ground yourself
remove the cr2032 button cell battery from the motherboard.( usually you push a tab and battery pops out)
turn the voltmeter on dc and test. positive to one side, negative on the other it should read three volts.
if the voltage is less than 3v you need to replace the battery
if the voltage reads 3V/if you have to replace
touch the power supply mounting screw to ground yourself
insert the battery back into the motherboard
replace side panel
turn on the computer. you will have to re setup the BIOS

i hve checked the battery its giving 3v and now the screen is not showing up maybe vecause of the cmos clearing. i will wait and watch gor a day or two to see if it start doing it again
