Having a real tough time choosing a Z170 motherboard. Can you help?

EDIT: Looking for a minor discussion on this, rather than a direct answer. Thanks.

Maybe it seems like I'm asking too much, but that shouldn't be the case ... the technology is out there, and I just want to take advantage of it. With that said, it seems like there is one deficiency or another with just about every Z170 motherboard on the market right now. Do you know of one that fits my build ideals, and can back it up with some evidence?

Build specifics (minimum):
- ATX... I'm not into the smaller stuff.
- Decent overclocking options
- 20x PCI-E 3.0 lanes for non-bottlenecked I/O
- DDR4 support at least to 3000MHz and listed manufacturer support for specific modules matching specs
- None of the constantly reported memory 'problems' with DIMM slots, XMP, etc. that seem to be very prevalent across vendors
- 1x M.2 x4 NVMe-capable slot for a fast, current M.2 device with boot capability
- Listed motherboard support for an NVMe M.2 SSD matching above specs (i.e. Samsung 950 PRO M.2 x4 512GB)
- Native high-speed peripheral interfaces; USB 3.0 obviously, but USB 3.1 and USB Type-C support are very welcome
- Quality sound solution, ideally something like a Creative Sound Core3D, X-Fi, or SupremeFX; again, none of the constantly reported audio 'problems' that seem to be plaguing many boards out there

My ideal build is:
- A very nice, quiet, cool case
- Large but not overkill power supply with clean cabling options
- Intel Core i7 6700K 4.2-4.8GHz
- Z170 motherboard that meets all my needs
- CPU air cooling if possible, but if not, a closed-loop system to keep things simple and tidy
- Probably a stock GeForce GTX980 or 980Ti. Not a fan of factory overclocked cards.
- 16GB+ of DDR4/3200MHz+
- Bootable M.2 NVMe SSD 512GB+
- Large secondary HDD, at least 4TB+
- New, quality KB & mouse

Any ideas??? Thanks for your help.

Solution
I tested the board and I wasn't able to find any significant audio issues. I immediately loaded the lastest bios on it, it worked perfectly in the time I used it.

Thanks for the response, ak47jar3d.

The Asus Maximus VIII Hero was one board I was looking at, but have you used this board? I ask because in many of the reviews I've read, a lot of the users are complaining of audio problems specifically with crackling, and some general instability. If you have used this board, were any of these issues present or fixed with driver/BIOS updates?
