i want to increase my laptop ram and i am afraid that it might be damage is there any disadvantages of increasing ram and may i increase ram can you send me answer on my email

when you add more ram to a laptop you let the os and the aps have more leg room to run. the laptop hard drive has to work less as the os does not have to use the hard drive as a swap file. with a lot of ram you could set up a ram drive for your aps that would run even faster then a ssd. the only downside with more ram is that at some point some of the ram wil lfail over time there might be a bad bit or a bad stick. as long as the new ram has life time warranty you can rma it if it goes bad.
