FAT16 to FAT32 - on a 4 GB Compact Flash

Hi to everyone! i am not so expert in partition so i need to ask: if i create a FAT16 on a 4GB flah card (removing the FAT32)...At the end i will have 4GB available anyway? Only the number of bits allocated to count the clusters of the disk are implicated...isn't it?

No, you will only be able to see 2Gb as this is the limit of FAT16.
Not sure why you would want to change it from FAT32.

Not entirely true. If one were to use 64K clusters a 4GB FAT volume is possible. Though it wastes an incredible amount of space and at one time was only supported by NT.
