I have a PC with a AMD graphics card, and i am looking forward to upgrade to Nvidia, i checked everything and i meet the requirements. However i'm not sure if it's safe to install Nvidia GPU on a computer that has a AMD GPU with a whole bunch of AMD drivers, so what will happen if i do? Am i able to and such?

Are you planning on running both of them simultaneously? Because you won't be able to do that.

However, if you're wanting to switch the AMD GPU with a new Nvidia GPU, that's totally possible.

Just make sure the Nvidia GPU is compatible with your motherboard (most likely PCI x 16)

With regards to the drivers, when you plug in new GPU windows should automatically install drivers for the new GPU.
If not, just go into Device Manager, uninstall graphics drivers, and download the new ones from the manufacturer.

tl;dr

1. You can't crossfire / SLI those two cards together. (run at the same time)

2. Your motherboard will support Nvidia GPUs :)

3. Don't worry about drivers

If you need more help just ask away.

Of course i don't wanna run 2 GPUs at the same time, that is absurdly silly!, but thanks for answering, i'll be upgrading soon :)
