Windowed mode for MMO

How can i use this in my mmo games?If the game is fullscreen how do i make it windowed?

What are the steps to follow so i can get windowed mode?

Not every game handles windowed mode correctly. By scrolling left you can leave the game and go to another window. You might think that's what you want, but it might not be in the heat of battle. I think newer GPUs handle it better, but older GPUs stay in 2D clock mode. Which means your frame rates will be lower. I have no clue what you are trying to do, but alt tabbing out is probably the better option/idea.

I found a programme WindowedBorderlessGaming but i don't know how to use it.How can i use this to play my mmo game in windowed mode?
What are these negative side effects?
