I got a thermaltake tr2 700w 80+gold and a 3770k cpu oc with an antec cooler on it.Will R9 390 nitro have any problems with this psu?Company suggests a 750w psw...dont really wanna spend more money buying a psu incase i may have issues. Is it really risky?should i skip over it and buy a gtx970?

Take a look at this thread to help your decision: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2706387/600w-psu-handle-390.html

tl;dr

It's possible your PSU will run the GPU. But I wouldn't risk it. Either go for better PSU (quality matters more than the Wattage)
Or go for the gtx970.

It's difficult to say for sure until you plug it in and test. But if by chance it doesn't work, it could lead to pc damage which could cost you a lot.

You can take a look through here as well.

:)

Sorry I don't really know just how risky it is. I'm a rather safe than sorry person.

i was gonna go with the 390 but in the end i am glad i didnt since when they come out they werent that much powerfull over their nvidia counterparts but i thin you should get a more powerful PSU (wattage) as they always seem to draw more power
