Hi, i'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right place..
So about 2 weeks ago i upgraded my pc with a new graphics card (Radeon R9 380X) and a new power supply (SeaSonic 620W 80+ Bronze S12II-620) it worked perfectly until today, i opened my gpu driver settings and saw i could change the MHz for specific games so i went ahead and changed it to the max it could (from 1500 to 1750) and than ran the game
Suddenly the screen went black and nothing worked so i waited about 5 minutes and nothing changed so i restarted the pc but still shows black screen and the pc is running (shows power on light and fans running)
First thought i had was that i fried my graphics card so i switched back to my old card and had the same results, i switched monitors still no luck, i tried resetting bios settings by removing the cmos battery for 5 minutes i tried connecting the dvi cable to the motherboard still did not work i even tried connecting only the neccesary things for the computer to run and it still didnt work i don't know what else to do

have no iGPU. so the only thing you having change is the motherboard and the CPU? then most likely is the motherboard.

So, you have already tried running it with NO GPU? entering the bios and resetting to default? can you even see the bios? Tried a different video cable?

1. remove gpu completely, 2. reseat ram. 3. make sure all psu connections are secure..not half plugged in (it happens) 4. boot and enter BIOS... if you can't enter BIOS because you have no video output try one stick of ram at a time, in the first slot...rinse repeat... if you still can't enter the bios and have zero display you have a serious problem.... you need a processor and ram to get into the bios.... if the ram is dead or the processor is you will have no output... and if you can test the ram in another (compatible) machine and it works then well, look at the cpu or the board... let me know if you get any error beeps and what your motherboard is and I will look them up for you.... you should get SOME diagnostic beeps, unless you have no mobo speaker...

Ever since i bought the pc a lot of things were changed, upgraded the ram the gpu power supply new fans the only things that didn't change are the motherboard and the cpu btw it's i5 3350p 3.1ghz so computer make and model don't bother i think the company is hp tho

How would that destroy a PSU? Just out of curiosity... I'm asking because I've never heard of that in 15 years of system building...

overload a psu. running a system required 500W on a 400W psu.

If you have the extra cash to spend, buy another power supply, try it in the machine with no gpu.....if it doesn't work then you most likely fried the motherboard... I doubt it's the psu but it is the cheaper part to try first unless you have a PSU tester laying around... I am not a fan of manually testing psu's with a multimeter...but you could do that as well.

That was before we know is a http://ark.intel.com/products/69114/Intel-Core-i5-3350P-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz, could have been a FX 9370 OC,
And OC do take a lot.

So the MoBo came and i plugged everything and now a new problem accured .. i run the pc it runs for 10 to 15 seconds and than shuts down and runs again after a few seconds.. it happens even when only the PSU and the 4pin connector is connected
The mobo is Gigabyte GA H61M-S2PV
Also something to mention while i was installing the MoBo i had to unscrew some screws so the cpu would fit while doing that i think that i accidently bent some of the little pins on the pcu even tho i had the pcu protector that came with the MoBo I'll post a picture to describe
