ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 Not working with GPU

I recently bought a ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 and got it to run with a gt640. A problem occured when I tried to out my other graphics card in which is a gtx 750 ti. When I use the gt 640, the boot goes smooth. When I use the gtx 750, all usb seem do not want work after about 3 seconds of the boot screen. I've tried turning off Fast boot, but that changes when different hardware is installed. I've been stumped for a while and would appreciate the help.

Thats kinda my problem it runs low end games garrys mod but gta 5 it wont run and i have a 500w psu

I have a Corsair CX 750M and I've updated the BIOS a while ago, btw sorry for the late response to help.

Again, sorry for late responses. The card does work with other motherboards. I'm wondering if buying a new card will work, but I'm worried it wont boot like the last.

The gt640 works with the board though. Wouldn't the board not boot with any card if that were the case or are different GPUs just able to boot while others dont?
