Hi, I got Antec 1300 W HCP Platinum but I see that custom cable kit are manufactured for my PSU. But I very much want to get some red/Blue cable kit ( complete set ) for my PSU and make the interior of my PC a bit aesthetic .
So I need suggestion as what should I do?
I feel completely hopeless . I have been searching and contacting sites regarding custom cables for my PSU but all I am getting is red signal and no solution as what I should do.

Kindly help or suggest as what to do.

Thanks in advance .

Solution
Can't you find a manufacturer that will customize them for you? It may be somewhat expensive, but it definitely can be done. You could also try to find all the required parts and do it yourself or have a shop do it for you.
It's OK for that cable if the wire gauge is low enough (lower wire gauge = larger wires), but what about the other cables? Increasing the length of a cable also increases the voltage drop; not by a lot, but it does. Why not contact http://www.moddiy.com/search.php?search_query=hCP-1300&x=0&y=0 and ask if they can manufacture a set of cables with your colors? There are no red and blue cables for any PSU since it definitely wouldn't be a popular choice, but it can be done.

I would love the Red and Black but I just contacted moddiy and the guy said it would take at least 2 months for a cable set to be made for my PSU.

So , if I get a complete set of extension cables separately , will it be harmful for my PSU ?
I was looking at this to get :http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Extension-Motherboard-Connector-PP07-MBBR/dp/B00HWQUKCS/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1454951636&sr=8-23&keywords=psu+cable

I would also get these :
2 x 4+4 Pin EPS Cable (700mm)
2 x Dual 6+2 Pin PCI-e Cable (750mm)
4 x 6+2 Pin PCI-e Cable (600mm)
1 x Quad SATA Power Cable (850mm)
1 x Quad SATA Power Cable (700mm)
2 x Dual SATA Power Cable (500mm)
1 x Triple 4-Pin Molex Cable (750mm)
2 x Dual 4-Pin Molex Cable (500mm)

Will that be okay or it will be harmful for my PSU ?

Actually the PSU is the only thing that I didnt research about. Made a big mistake. Should I return my Antec 1300 W HCP Platinum and get Corsair AX 1200i ?

And what did u mean by points of failure?

Returning the PSU is up to you; I presume you selected the Corsair because red cables are available directly from Corsair.

I meant that all those cables add connections that can potentially fail if they are not high quality; a direct connection from the PSU to each component always is preferred. I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it, but I wouldn't (at least not with so many extension cables to hide).

The Antec is fine. Don't get a Corsair, they are overpriced for what they are. The HCP is a very good PSU. Extensions are totally fine to use, so long as you ensure to get them from a reputed source who knows what they're doing.

Cablemod does some really good, high quality sleeved extensions:

Thanks for replying mate.

I just need to ask you one more little favor. I need a full complete set of cables as I wanna redo my all cables to red colors and I dont have full knowledge about all the cables. I had my system built by an engineer.

So, if you dont mind , can you give me "full" set of extension kits that I need for my PSU and connecting it to my 2x 980 Ti AMP Extreme, 2x SSD , 3x HDD , Asus Maximus VIII Extreme ?
Also I am having H110i GTX Hydro and 6700 K in Cosmos 2 Ultra.

It would be awesome if you can give me a complete list of cables for my build. Also mate, that link you gave doesnt have purchase option.

Thanks in advance for your time :)

Here's what you need:

  • ■ 4x 8 pin PCI-E power cables
    ■ 1x 24-pin ATX Motherboard cable
    ■ 6x SATA Power cables
    ■ 5x SATA Data cables
    ■ 1x 8 pin (Or 4+4 ATX/EPS) EPS cable
    ■ 1x 4 pin (Or 4+4 ATX/EPS; this is seperate to the one above, you'll need both) ATX cable
Keep in mind that the cables from the front panel headers cannot be replaced.

EDIT: I've seen some of UPC's work and they seem to do custom sleeving well: https://ultimatepersonalcomputers.com/shop/upc-custom-extensions/

Won't let me order though so you may want to email them to see if they can do it for you.

Bro, as you listed all those, I have searched and got down to this except 2 of them :

4x 8 pin PCI-E power cables - ? ?
1x 24-pin ATX Motherboard cable - Getting in the Kit itself.
6x SATA Power cables - http://www.performance-pcs.com/bitfenix-molex-to-sata-power-extension-cable-45cm-red-sleeve.html
5x SATA Data cables - http://www.performance-pcs.com/cablemod-sata-3-cable-red.html
1x 8 pin (Or 4+4 ATX/EPS) EPS cable - ? ?
1x 4 pin (Or 4+4 ATX/EPS; this is seperate to the one above, you'll need both) ATX cable - http://www.performance-pcs.com/bitfenix-4-pin-atx-extension-cable-45-cm-red-sleeve.html

Are those correct or I made a mistake? And can you link me to those 2 cables that I couldnt find as I got confused? :)

Also, you said "Keep in mind that the cables from the front panel headers cannot be replaced."

Those things right ? How do I sleeve them?

That kit is a bit useless since it includes only 2 8 pin connectors. That's why I suggested contacting UPC, who can make a custom set for you according to your needs and how you want them to look (Your setup is not an ordinary one). At the very lest, try to stick to one brand or you'll end up with cables that slightly differ from one another in some small way.

My bad, I forgot that you're using extensions. You don't have to sleeve them. Here is the revised list:

This is going to cost quite a lot. It's up to you if it's worth it or if you want to sell your PSU and go with a PSU like the EVGA 1300W G2 that has better support for aftermarket cables. That will cost you around $320-340, including all the extra aftermarket cables.

EDIT: I totaled everything up. You're spending ~$315 on cables alone. Sell that PSU for ~$170-190 (It's $220 brand new) and buy the $180 EVGA 1300W G2 + Cablemod's $99 full sleeved pack for it. Any other cables or extensions(Front IO, USB, SATA, etc.) will cost an additional ~$50, bringing your total for everything up to about $340 (Minus the ~$180 you make from selling your current PSU. This way you also have to deal with smaller lengths of cabling making cable management much easier.

Alright, I talked with Ultimate Personal Computers on Facebook and they said it will be 184 $ USD (http://prntscr.com/a124dr) including shipping.
And also I talked with Modguru , they told me it will be 141.16 $USD (http://prntscr.com/a123xg) including shipping.

So , are these two modguru and upc trusted ? or should I buy from them or should I go with amazon?

Yes, both are trustable. I have seen builds with UPC's cables and they are very nice. Modguru seems to have similar cables for a lower price though. Make sure you get the 4 pin ATX cable too.

My advice is to leave the SATA and Front panel header cables alone, else you will end up spending quite a lot. They aren't very visible anyway. If you must, get only the front panel header cables - 2x USB 2.0, Internal HD audio and 4 separate front panel IO cables (4 of the small thin cables).

UPC says it will take them 2 weeks for the cable to make but Modguru says within 2 days after payment they will ship. Should I order from modguru ?
Kinda worried if I get scammed from them. :|

Edit : Also what if I get the 2x Front IO set, 1x Internal HD audio cable and 2x USB 2.0 internal cable and 2x 6+2 pin for GPU from amazon and buy the extension cable kit from cable mods ? Will that work?
