Hi,

recently i have decided to change my gpu from Asus GTX 670 to EVGA gtx 980 ti classified. Sadly the new card had a lot of artefacts and after 5 minutes of gaming died. I returned card and purashed another (980 ti class) one from diffrent shop. Next card didn't even displayed video, so I tryed swaping PSU to 800Watt Corsair and still nothing. Card was dead. So here comes my queston: Does my computer kill GPUs? (my GTX 670 still works perfectly fine and overclocks like mad)

video of first card: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrwZeBxBK8g

Specs:
i7-3770k 4.5 GHz 1.3v
AsRock z77 extreme 4
Asus GTX 670 4GB
Adata gaming 2x4 gb and 2gb kingston hyper x
BeQuiet 630W Pure power L8
Gladus X80 pure black (6 fans at medium spead)

I know my PSU is a little small for gtx 980 ti but i think it should work fine and overclock)

Have you tried removing all old drivers completely before installing the new card? Google DDU for a utility that can be very helpful.

You have to understand. Even though you're going from Nvidia to Nvidia, the architecture is completely different. The new install will account for that. Keeping old drivers just causes issues.
