Hi, i've recently acquired my gtx 960 4gb, it runs great btw, but the cpu overheats like crazy almost instantly, and i'm afraid it will crash. I've already cleaned the heatsink with an airblower and it's not that dusty, what should i do?

PD: my room temperatura is a bot too high, and I only have the stock cooler

Will removing the side case of the tower keep it more cold?

Solution
That stock cooler is not very good, and your new GPU could be throwing more heat into the case. You can remove the sides and see if it helps, long term you should look at either adding an exhaust fan to your case or getting a new CPU cooler. CoolerMaster Hyper 212 is the best bang for your buck.
