Hello everyone.

My friend has come through the issue and he asked my help, but I've never had anything similar so I can't really help him, but I thought I might as well ask for people's help in here.

So, my friend has Windows 10 in his SSD and Windows 7 in HDD. He has all the old files in windows 7, but some applications like Origin doesn't work in there, while it works on Win 10. The main problem is that there's no sound in Win 10 and we can't communicate with each other.

So my question is, how could he delete windows 7 and still maintain all the files in the disk, while having SSD only for windows 10?

I hope you understand my issue. Thanks.

It won't fix the sound issues, try reinstalling audio drivers, but yes. He can go ahead and delete the Windows folder on his HDD if the SSD is the primary boot drive and the computer properly boots into Windows 10. The Windows and Windows.old ((may not exist)) folders can be deleted on a secondary drive without impacting any other files on the drive. This is what I did when I got my SSD and installed Windows onto it and it's been working fine.
