Hi!

I have a little problem and I'll try to do my best to write it shortly.
My English is not perfect but I'll try my best.

So the problem is I bought a video card r9 390 for my CM Scout 1 and it didn't fit in, so I was about to saw off a part of HDD build in that case, but after all I ordered a new case CM Storm Scout 2, where you can take one side of that HDD "tower" off so r9 390, for example can fit in. Then I realize that my PSU isn't probably enough for that new video card, but there is a lot of discussion in this site about it and some people says that it's maybe gonna work. I'll write my specs under this thread. And the third matter is that my MB is pretty "long", and after looking at the pictures of that brand new case I though is it really gonna fit in that case with PSU under MB. CM Storm Scout 2 is for ATX MB's and My MB is ATX but still.. I built my PC and updated for 5 years, but now there's so many things going on right with all this building, that I', afraid that I'm going to mess up whole thing. So I wanted to ask you guys, what do you think?

Well unless im missing something your case will fit all your components just fine-as far as your psu goes a 600w psu is fine for a 390 but it will greatly depend on which one it is. If its a lower tier model then forget about it but if its a quality tier 1 or 2 model then I don't see any real issues.

Looks like the game is over, my PSU is LC6600GP2 600W, 6600GP V2.0 Silent Giant Green black, ATX-vi and if I'm correct it belongs in the 5th Tier... Sh**.

If that is the case that's bad news mate. You really should look into getting something more reliable. Personally I'm a seasonic fanboy but just look at the table I linked and pick something from either tier 1 or 2 - I'm sure you can find something decent on special

I've always been using not modular PSU and I think I go with that again. The seller who sold me Asus Amd R9 390 said that i'll need 750w PSU to run that card.. Scam? xD I guess what I'm trying to ask is it okay to buy a little bit higher W PSU or is it a harm? My friend bought that card and said it's very good so I bought it too, but didn't think much... So I guess I have to buy a new PSU too along with the case which is coming.. My friend has 750W PSU.

Amd and certain manufacturers do recommend a higher powered psu but thats them playing it safe because of all the bad quality models out there. In all honesty a psu is not something you want to go cheap on-just because one particular model sais its 750w it doesn't mean it can provide that kind of power on a continuous basis and you might run into other issues with ripples etc.

Just go over the list available on these forums and get something of good quality. Im personally running a seasonic g650 with my 390 and I've never had any issues, so a quality 600w+ model will suffice just fine.

Can't say I've ever heard of it before and only review I've been able to find was in german :/ look it doesn't mean its a bad psu, for all I know it could be amazing, but since I can't find any data or trustworthy info on it I wouldn't put it anywhere near my system.

Thanks guys for the help and answering, appreciated a lot. Only question is, are you sure about 620W PSU? The requirements is 650W at least for my video card?

And I though to try with my psu, if it's going to work. My friend said that it's maybe going to work if I'm not going to overclock it and I'm not, but it's already OC? Is it possible that my psu will explode and ruin my GPU + maybe other parts? I though to test it by taking everything out of case and cover psu with something if it's going to explode

Hi guys, I made a new thread, but I thought to write here, since nobody can't/won't help me out.

I have stutter lag problems now in CS:GO and Witcher 3... Tried with lowest graphics settings etc... Still same problem. Good FPS, but it's dropping and causes stuttering. Temps are: Witcher 3 -GPU 60-70 (high/ultra) -CPU 45-60. RAM is not in 100% usage, same as HDD.

Things I've done:

-Updated Bios
-Tried Windows 7, 8 and 10
-Updated all drivers
-Removed old driver with DDU and installed new one for GPU (Safe Mode)
-Scanned with Antivirus = Nothing
-Scanned with Antimalware software = Nothing
-Unplugged GPU and rePlugged it back to MB
-Changed settings in BIOS and resetting it
-Banged my head into the wall
-Power + 50% (Can't remember the name of that option, so sorry, cause this stupid windows installed Radeon Settings "CNext" on my own language)
-Changing settings in Radeon Settings (CNext)
-Vsync on/off

This is really annoying, can somebody from this thread help me out?

Edit:

-Disabled in BIOS Cool 'n Quiet aka. Speedstep for Intel CPU
-Changed power settings to high performance
