I have a dell optiplex 790 and the only plug for a fan is a 5 pin plug, and just my luck, they don't sell any anywhere I can find. So I bought a 4 pin
I have looked on google for hours and for some reason I have not found a single post about this problem.
Is there some sort of adapter? Do you think it will just fit into the slot? This is becoming so much more complicated than I thought it would be, this Is the third fan I bought, none have worked so far. My PC is running at Temps of 99 celcius while gaming for less than 5 minutes.
I would really appreciate some insight, I've posted about this 3 times now and I haven't got any answers that helped me
