i'm think of buying a dual core i7-4510u laptop. it has base core speed of 2.0GHz, with a boost of 3.1GHz on single core application and a boost of 2.8GHz on dual core.
so, does anyone have experience in this...
is it quicker to boot (using msconfig.exe and selecting number of core/s) from one core with higher boost, or dual core with (only slightly) lower boost?
thanks
