I'm finally replacing my Xtremegear 700 watt PSU (I've heard too many bad things about them) and am looking at upgrading to the Corsair RM 850. I'm running an i7 3770k and will be running a GTX 980 here in a couple of days. My mobo (as stated in the title) is a GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H CROSSFIRE/SLI SATA 3 USB 3 LGA 1 and I'm wondering if this will work fine."

I've never replaced a PSU before, is it difficult? I've put in RAM and GPU's before but I'm wondering if I should consult a buddy to come oversee the process.
