Hello,

I have built two computers on pcpartpicker:
1) http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fvRjt6
2) http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nnXCjX

Obviously the second one is better, but my question is if it really is worth it + if you have any recommendations on what to change (the budget is not a problem since it's in the 1250$ price range). I am from Europe (Slovenia), and here's the second mini question: is it ok for me to buy from pcpartpicker, or do you recommend any other custom pc building sites that are in Europe?

Thanks in advance !

P.s. I already have an ssd with os installed on it.

Solution
1'st - Don't use a cheap Power Supply. Here's a link to the PSU Tier List here on Tom's...

2'nd - I'd go with your second Skylake based build. Better support going forward for drivers and peripherals, and it uses the newer DDR4 memory that will likely be able to be reused in a future build. Haswell (your first build) is already a couple of years old.

As for where to buy from - PC Part Picker doesn't actually sell anything, it just list prices from retailers. You can edit which retailers PC Part Picker lists to ones that you can actually purchase from in your country.

Thanks for the quick reply, I changed the PSU, and it looks like this now http://pcpartpicker.com/p/97gDBm . Imo this build should suffice for the next couple of years - I'll be gaming on my 1080p BenQ XL2430T, so I won't be needing any 4k resolution 60fps+ build. Is there anything else you/anybody might recommend?

You might want to consider an SSD (120G or 240G) for your OS boot drive if it's in your budget. I'd get the 240G, that way you could put a couple of your favorite games on it too so they load faster.

The Noctua cooler is good for overclocking if you're into that, otherwise you could save a few bucks and go with the much cheaper Hyper 212.

I did state that I already own an ssd with os on it :), I might go with that fan, and spend the extra 50€ on a new keyboard. Thanks !
