So recently you guys helped me finish my first desktop pc build. I had completed it in January and now i have this great laptop ( but keyboard doesn't work ;-; ). So i remembered i did indeed have a piece of crap somewhere in my closet. And i was able to find it. My Old HP Mini 210-3070nr. Running at Intel Atom at 1.66 ghz and 1 GB of SDRam, I decided, well i could see if i could turn this into a League of Legends and Internet Surfing Laptop. So my question being is that, can i change the processor and RAM into something much greater for PC Gaming? Or would i be better off just buying a new laptop? Also was planning on adding an external GPU is that good? What do you guys think of trying to make a Mini into something better?

League of Legends? Not on GMA. I think the CPU is even soldered. However with a small SSD, maybe an experimental RAM upgrade (if it isn't soldered try a 2/4GB stick. Unofficial capacity laptop RAM configs are heard of.) Linux would be a good idea, preferably something lightweight. And with a healthy swap partition. Think Debian, Puppy or Gentoo. Even Mint would work okay. But stay away from Ubuntu, Unity is a bit demanding by Linux standards.
Don't even think about a eGPU. A new WiFi dongle would work. That about covers any possible upgrades. If you want something more you have to buy new.

Thanks for the response, so when you say a new WiFi dongle, i would get a new internal one right? and also, could i get a copy of Windows 7 and run that ? I prefer Windows due to me knowing how to navigate it easier and I've never had anything but it. ** Notice ** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyUfs788cJk This guy is able to switch out his ram because it seems it isnt soldered. If the RAM isn't, would the cpu not be either?
