Ok so i installed my CPU cooler and somehow i put too much thermal paste. When i took my CPU off the socket i found some thermal paste near some pins (you can see the pic).
The termal paste was Arctic MX2. (non-conductive if i remember corectly).
Is it ok? Do i have to worry? Had it like this for almost 2 weeks ,never had a problem (only with my GPU but that's only AMD's "hotfix" sh#t drivers).

Solution
Its not making contact, so it shouldnt cause any issues.
I personally would take a toothpick and carefully scrape it off, just to ease myself.
Question for you, why are you taking the processor out after only a few weeks? (Nothing wrong with that, just curious)

Not that it would "hurt" anything so to speak but its not good. Get a Q-Tip and some rubbing alcohol and very very very gently try to clean next to the pins. You might have to do it a couple of times but it will come off. You only need a pea size amount of thermal paste on the processor, no more than that. Just be careful cleaning it and you should be good to go! :D

Well,i just changed my cpu cooler. I wont touch the pc till summer or when i'll have nothing better to do,because i have to change the Thermal paste again..
I'm having 57C on full load (cryorig h7) with 5 fans inside the Tower ..
57C on full load (1hr cpu burner) seems pretty high to me since it's like 17C ambient..

FX 8350 Stock
Cryorig H7 + Bad applied DeepCool Z5
R9 380 Sapphire
GA 970A UD3P rev2
8GB RAM
850 Evo+Samsung F3 HDD (old)
The case is : DeepCool kendomen TI.

Since i posted this,i started a prime95 test,and it's on 54C ..
I'm quite sad because I bought an aftermarket cooler to overclock my CPU ,I expected atleast 4.5ghz ,but now im not so sure..

If you dont already have those two intakes you may with to add some more fans.
I think you should be able to manage 4.5GHz. It runs stock turbo up to 4.2, and you still have 8C to work with. (Also check what AMD overdrive says your thermal margin is)

You cant compare the clock speeds of an 8350 with a haswell i7. They have completely different architectures, base speeds, and thermal limits.
4.5GHz is easily obtainable on an 8350, even on air. Hell, Im pushing 4.2 on a Phenom II from 09 with a 4+1 phase motherboard, temps under 40C.

Yeah i have a horrible thing about comparing cpu's that arent even close to the same, thats my bad.
