Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my existing NvidIa GT 630 Graphics card to the New GTX750i, My computer had been running smoothly with the existing graphics card no problem.

I have looked at the specs for the new cards and they are virtually identical, with the Minimum System Power Requirement both being 300w and the Graphics Card Power (W) being a slight increase for 50(w) to 60(w) I have added up the watt total for my systems use in multiple power calculators, and they're all within safe use of my PSU wattage max. With some even lowering the total amount of wattage used for the new card.

My question is as my PSU runs perfectly fine with my existing graphics card, there shouldn't be any problems with the new one if they're the same specs right? Thanks for any response, I am really quite new, but cant see how this wouldnt be ok. I will however be buying a 4pin to 6 pin adapter to connect to the new card for power, dont know if this would change anything.

Nice Ak, and the card without the pcie power slot would use no more wattage?. Thanks greatly for your responses and helping me avoid the adapters issues. :)

Nope, it wont increase the wattage since its the same gpu. its clever solution for psus that don't have 6 pin pcie plugs.
