Gtx 960 vs Gtx 950 for Amd Phenom 955???

Good Evening Forum:
Okay here goes another wonderful “Which GPU” question…..
MY current Rig:

Amd Phenom IIx4 955 BE (3.6ghz Stable)
600 Watt PSU
6 Gb Ram (1 Dead Ram Slot)…..Will Switch to 8gb here shortly……

I currently game on a 720p display…..
I’m extremely torn between the 960 and the 950…….There is so many contradicting answers as to if the phenom will bottleneck the gtx 960 or not

I know the 950 would be a perfect fit for 720p and my cpu…..
I will upgrade to 1080p sometime in the future (720p looks fine for me)……

The Gtx 960 is a better card……but for 720p and my cpu is it overkill?? Is it worth the extra 50 or so dollars.....From the reviews, the 950 is a very capable card for 1080p....I just don't want to get buyers remorse.....

I would get the gtx 950 as its a good value option compared to gtx 960. It will get you most of the way there in term of performance and cost significantly less. Bottleneck? Yes, but only on the cpu intensive games (fallout. crysis, witcher, ect.). In most games, a cpu bottleneck will not a occur. Either card is overkill for 720p and are meant for 1080p.

I was leaning toward the 950.....
So many to choose from......
I'm not a fan of any brand.....

Any suggestions? I would like a 2 fan version though!
