So I just upgraded my gaming PC, got a new mobo, CPU, and RAM, and now when playing source games (specifically Half Life games) there is an obnoxious high pitch noise that rings when I walk. It's not coil or mobo whine because it doesn't happen when I shut my speaker off. Here's the kicker, it happens when I have my speakers, my cheap earpods and my skullcandy crushers on, but not when I tried it with my turtle beach and apple ear pods. It seems selective, and the conditions are so specific. It happens in Half Life Source and the Half Life 2 games. I don't even.
