Thermal Throttling, I think?

Hey I have an EVGA GTX 960 SSC, and was playing about a game's worth of BF4 which was maybe an hour long. I always keep MSI Afterburner running in the background for my custom fan curve and have never exceeded 80 GPU power. But I read in a lot of places that GPUs start throttling at around 90-100 GPU Power, not GPU usage, and I reached about 94 after playing BF4. Is this bad? How can I prevent this?

Well I'm still not sure what gpu power refers to but from what your describing there's no throttling what so ever. If you were throttling you'd be experiencing performance drops

By gpu power do you mean your actual GPU temperature? If you managed to hit 94c with a 960 then that is really bad-they are not meant to be running that hot. If though you mean your GPU Usage was hitting 94% thats perfectly fine-you preferably want games to be making full use of your GPU so the closer to 100% usage the better.

By GPU Power I mean actual GPU Power, if you have it enabled in the settings, by the graphs the very first thing you should see is "GPU Power" which I assume is the power limit, my temps are exceptional never exceeding 64 degrees Celcius and my usage is at 100% when gaming which is normal. But I read somewhere that GPU thermal throttling begins to happen at around 90-100 GPU power, so is it bad for the gpu or anything?
